Why This Coffee Stands Out
This is a classic, well-balanced espresso with plenty of depth. The chocolatey base gives it richness and structure, while subtle stone fruit brightness adds complexity without tipping into sourness. It’s smooth and forgiving — not too bitter, not too sharp — making it easy to dial in and consistently enjoyable.
She Roars holds up beautifully in milk, bringing out notes of milk chocolate and toasted almonds, but it’s just as satisfying on its own as a straight shot, where the balance and sweetness really shine.
About the Producers
She Roars is a 100% women-produced blend, sourced from women producers and producer groups across Guatemala and Burundi. Women play a critical role in coffee production worldwide, yet they are often underrepresented, underpaid, and overlooked in access to land ownership, financing, and direct market opportunities.
By intentionally sourcing this blend from women producers, we aim to help shift that imbalance and direct more value to the people whose labor and expertise shape the coffee. These coffees were selected not only for their quality, but for how beautifully they come together — creating a balanced, approachable espresso that reflects both craftsmanship and care at origin.
Recipe
• About 18 g of coffee with a 36 g yield (1:2 ratio)
• Target pull time of around 25–30 seconds for a well-balanced shot
• Make sure the coffee is rested for at least a week after roast — 10–14 days is even better
