Incredible!!! One of the best coffees I’ve ever had!

Thank you for this incredible coffee! I work in specialty coffee and have access to a “lifetime supply”. I can say this is one of my favorite coffees I have ever had. I have been able to share it with a lot of people! I have shared it with people that have a less sophisticated coffee pallet to a contestant of the national barista competition. They all have raved about this coffee and how it has once again given them a coffee experience they will talk about. I love this coffee so much that I have some stored safe for a later date. Thank you again!!

Very good coffee
Extremely floral as expected from a gesha. Reminded me of my jasmine scented tibetan tea, with a bright acidity that accented the jasmine nicely. Going from 5.5 to 5 on my zp6 special added a chocolatey aftertaste that was nice as well.

WHAT'S THE PROCESSING

Carbonic maceration is a fermentation technique borrowed from the wine industry, adapted to coffee processing to create incredibly complex and expressive flavors. Whole coffee cherries are placed in a sealed, oxygen free tank filled with carbon dioxide, encouraging an anaerobic fermentation process. This environment allows unique yeast and bacteria to break down sugars and acids in a controlled way, leading to vibrant, fruit forward, and often intensely aromatic coffees.

PRICE TRANSPARENCY

Price transparency in coffee is vital because the price paid to farmers (based on the NYSE commodity price) often doesn't cover the true cost of production. This makes coffee unsustainable for many farmers.

Below, you can see what we paid for the coffee and what the farmer received. However, simply sharing the price without context wouldn't be meaningful. To provide a clearer picture, we've included the FairTrade Living Income Price for Colombia, the price that ensures farmers earn enough to cover their basic needs and maintain a decent standard of living.
