ABOUT THE COFFEE

Kerehaklu Estate, nestled in the dense jungles of Chikkamagaluru, has been run by the Thipaiah family for four generations. Managed by father-son duo Ajoy and Pranoy Thipaiah, the farm thrives in harmony with its rich biodiversity, where towering coffee trees share space with wild fig, jackfruit, and even visiting elephants. Ajoy’s deep agronomic expertise ensures sustainable coffee cultivation, while Pranoy’s background in biology drives innovative processing techniques that push the boundaries of Indian specialty coffee.

OUR NOTES

It all started with a cold DM—after hearing Pranoy on a podcast with Lucia Solis, we had to reach out. That message turned into a visit to the stunning Kerehaklu Estate, where our founders, Anu and Suyog saw firsthand the care and creativity behind every coffee cherry. Then, we got to host Pranoy at our roastery, where he brought the farm to life with his incredible storytelling about coffee, wildlife, and life in India. This one’s close to our hearts—hope you love it!
