Why This Coffee Stands Out
We're delighted to launch this new coffee: a light roasted Hybrid EA Sugarcane process Decaf coffee from Los Nogales. This coffee is special for many reasons, including its unique flavor.
In 2024, Weihong Zhang won the US Brewers Cup Championship (a global competition recognizing innovators in brewing coffee through an on-stage presentation and performance). This win was monumental due to the fact that he won the competition with a decaffeinated coffee: something that had never been done before in the competition's 20-year history. This incredible decaf coffee, produced at Los Nogales, stunned the national coffee scene.
Now, we are able to offer a similar decaf to the lot of coffee that won the hearts of American coffee drinkers last year. This decaf coffee, made with the Ethyl Acetate Sugarcane process (a decaffeination process that uses naturally derived ethyl acetate from fermented sugarcane to dissolve caffeine from green coffee beans while preserving flavor), has vibrant notes of yellow peach, lemongrass, and spice cake.
Currently shipping coffee roasted on 8th July 2025.
